"Red-hot and invigorating, Terese Genecco's sensational debut CD is a live recording of her super-high-spirited act, channeling and saluting the late iconoclastic nightclub entertainer Frances Faye. Brash, belty and bombastic, Terese comes out of the starting gate at a pace and energy some singers never even build up to, and she rarely slows down. With pulse-racing, smashing arrangements for a top-drawer band blaring away, they feed off each other, and the bravura celebration is truly exciting - and there's humor, too, in the offhand, cocky humor, too, a Faye trademark. Some of her one-liners and asides are in the patter. Terese has soaked up the raw style and "let's have fun" attitude, and it's contagious goodwill and good singing.

This performance of Drunk with Love took place at The Metropolitan Room where she returned a few months ago for the "sequel," with more splashy material from the Faye heyday. The CD is a triumph."

Yep, that's right! Time Out New York has named Terese's newest show, "Drunk With Love: The Sequel!" to it's annual Top Ten List of the Best Cabaret Shows of the year! The original "Drunk With Love" hit the Top Ten list in 2006, and here they are back on the top in 2007 as well!

Three more hot nights in the cool city! T and the band (this time, including almost all of the San Francisco roster-Barry Lloyd, Daniel Fabricant, Randy Odell, Tony Malfatti, Rich Armstrong, and Max Perkoff) plus newcomer Mayra Casales on Latin percussion) rocked the Met Room for three nights with their new show, "Drunk With Love: The Sequel!" Terese and her *little big band* kicked it up again in NYC this fall! She was on stage at Jazz At Lincoln Center as a featured guest performer at the Mabel Mercer Foundation's annual Cabaret Convention on Wednesday, November 7, 2007. Joining her on stage were BARRY LLOYD on piano, DANIEL FABRICANT on bass, RANDY ODELL on drums, and TONY MALFATTI on tenor sax. They performed a three song tribute to the legendary KATE SMITH, at the request of producer DONALD SMITH. T brought the house down at the close of the first act with the beautiful ballad, and Kate Smith's signature song, "When The Moon Comes Over The Mountain!" Yep. She did it again!

Hey San Francisco - Bay Area Fans!! The Plush Room just booked Terese and the *little big band* for a sneak preview of her brand new show, "Drunk With Love: Volume 2!" before it hits New York City in November! Come on out to the 10:30 PM show on Saturday, October 27, 2007 and catch the very first glimpse of T and the new material! They're in rehearsals now, and they can't wait to get this thing up and in front of their hometown fans. The 2007 Back Stage Bistro Awards were announced on March 1st, and Terese WON for her fabulous show, "DRUNK WITH LOVE: A TRIBUTE TO FRANCES FAYE!" Terese performed at the Bistro Award Show, at Gotham Comedy Club in NYC, on April 9th, along with lifetime achievement award recipient Betty Buckley!

Terese just finished up a round of performances in April in NYC, at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM. She debuted her brand NEW show, "ALONE TOGETHER," which is an intimate celebration of the music of ARTHUR SCHWARTZ. ("Dancing In The Dark," "You And The Night And The Music," "By Myself," "That's Entertainment") Terese was accompanied by her Musical Director, BARRY LLOYD.

Terese is currently on stage at San Francisco's world famous EMPIRE PLUSH ROOM ~ through JUNE 9th ~ with another Bistro Award winner, MIKE GREENSILL, at the keyboard!

This Saturday at The PLUSH ROOM (June 9th) Terese will be performing her Bistro-award-winning show, "DRUNK WITH LOVE: A TRIBUTE TO FRANCES FAYE!" with her 7-piece *little big band!*

Saturday, June 2nd, was the West Coast CD Release concert of "DRUNK WITH LOVE," featuring "Mr. Bongo" Jack Costanzo on percussion! Mr. Costanzo played on Frances Faye's "Caught In The Act" LP in 1958, and was the percussionist of choice of major entertainers the world over, including Nat "King" Cole and Peggy Lee!

"Drunk With Love" hits the Fillmore Jazz Festival in San Francisco on June 30th, then T takes off for Los Angeles and other cities around the country, beginning in August.

From July 13th through July 22nd, Terese will appear both weekends at The Town Hall Theatre in Lafayette, CA, in "JUDY JUDY JUDY!", a tribute to the songs most closely associated with the legendary JUDY GARLAND. Terese is joined on stage by ML PARR, PAMELA BROOKS, and Musical Director, BARRY LLOYD.

Terese is also appearing again in NEW YORK CITY this November! She'll be at Rose Hall in the JAZZ @ LINCOLN CENTER complex on Wednesday, November 7th, as a featured artist of the Mabel Mercer Foundation's Annual Cabaret Convention. Then it's back to The Metropolitan Room for three 10:30 PM shows there, Wednesday through Friday, November 8 and 9! Check the calendar for updates and ticket information.

Terese was the recent headliner at San Francisco's St. Regis Hotel ballroom, for the annual VARIETY CLUB CHILDREN'S CHARITY BENEFIT GALA. Also appearing were 33Jazz Recording artist SHAYNEE RAINBOLT, (in from NYC) and NBC's "America's Got Talent" semi-finalist, SHAWN RYAN (up from Los Angeles!)

Terese also recently took part in a stellar line-up at NYC's hottest nightspot, THE METROPOLITAN ROOM, in an OPRAH ANGEL NETWORK benefit concert. Opening the show was the legendary jazz chanteuse, ANNIE ROSS.

Terese gave the room a taste of New Orleans (the benefit was to raise funds for the still suffering survivors of Hurricane Katrina) with a rousing rendition of the "Basin Street Blues," and then a poignant arrangement of Bacharach/David's "A House Is Not A Home" which morphed into 33Jazz recording artist, Shaynee Rainbolt's version of John Bucchino's, "It Feels Like Home."

Terese is also in the recording studio, in the thick of the mixing process for the long-awaited, debut CD of her live show, "Drunk With Love: A Tribute To Frances Faye!"

The CD will be released at THE PLUSH ROOM in SAN FRANCISCO on JUNE 2nd, 2007.

Terese and her show, DRUNK WITH LOVE:A TRIBUTE TO FRANCES FAYE, was named one of the TOP TEN BEST CABARET SHOWS OF 2006 by Time Out New York Magazine!

Terese was pleased to be asked back to the Young Actor's Theatre Camp as a Master Class instructor and performer during their Winter camp session, held at Camp Arroyo in the beautiful Livermore Valley, CA. Other master class instructors included Kristy Cates (Elphaba in the Broadway production of "Wicked",) the cast of the touring production of "Jesus Christ Superstar," and New York City-based, 33Jazz Records recording artist, Shaynee Rainbolt. The founder and co-director of the camp is Shawn Ryan, semi-finalist on NBC's "America's Got Talent." More information is available at www.youngactorstheatrecamp.org. Ages 8 - 18. Summer session is June 24-30, 2007.

The recording is in the can! That's right, Terese performed six shows at Jazz At Pearl's in San Francisco, November 3-5, 2006. Four of the shows were recorded for her upcoming debut LIVE CD! We're engineering, mixing, and mastering...to get the best of Terese's shows at The Metropolitan Room in NYC in October, and the hottest stuff from Jazz At Pearl's in SF in November.

The CD's working title is "CAUGHT IN HER ACT" and it will be 15-20 cuts from Terese's phenomenally acclaimed solo show, "DRUNK WITH LOVE: A TRIBUTE TO FRANCES FAYE!"
